2025 Fireworks Display
Against the backdrop of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the Deutsches Eck, a roughly 20-minute show of light and colour effects unfolds, accompanied by music. The fireworks display at Rhein in Flammen® Koblenz is the highlight of the traditional ship parade.The combination of impressive pyrotechnics, a historic backdrop and the special atmosphere along the Rhine makes the fireworks display an integral part of Koblenz’s event calendar.

In 2025, visitors to Rhein in Flammen® Koblenz were treated to an additional visual highlight for the first time: a spectacular drone show, made possible by Energieversorgung Mittelrhein (evm).The drone show was produced by Showmatrix, a company based in Limburg that specializes in large-scale productions using drone technology. The show was choreographed to music and featured impressive visuals against the night sky.

• 400 drones
• 1,600 propellers
• 2D & 3D designs synchronized to music
• 6–8 weeks of preparation time
• excellent view from the Deutsches Eck, just like during the fireworks
• all colors displayed via LEDs
